Dairy Knowledge is of immense value for the professional actually working in daily dairy farm management. Dairy farming requires up-to-date knowledge of all aspects of dairy husbandry, particularly the significance of cow milk. The greatest amount of money lost with mastitis is reduction in milk yield and quality. Increased cost is also in from treatment and discarded milk. By protecting cow milk from diseases (mastitis), farmers can easily save 250 to 300 euro per year, this is the cost which farmers spent for protection. As result of it, S4RE engaged a resource person, who in collaboration with milk collection point (ABI collection point) organized a training session for cow diseases. This event took place on 30th of May, and it was organized in Bresana-Blaq/Dragash. 37 farmers were brought together during capacity building activity, which enables them to increase quality and quantity by implementing new methodology.
