{"id":1797,"date":"2017-03-31T06:38:19","date_gmt":"2017-03-31T06:38:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/helvetas-ks.org\/s4re\/?p=1797"},"modified":"2017-03-31T06:42:08","modified_gmt":"2017-03-31T06:42:08","slug":"job-vacancy-project-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helvetas-ks.org\/s4re\/job-vacancy-project-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Vacancy: Project Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Skills for Rural Employment Project &#8211; <strong>S4RE <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation, a Swiss Development Organization is implementing the project \u201cSkills for Rural Employment\u201d (S4RE).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The goal of S4RE is improving the income and employment opportunities for youth, in particular women, minorities and rural households in rural areas of Kosovo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>S4RE is recruiting a Project Officer responsible to assist set of project interventions related to: a) skills development for youth, b) strengthening agribusiness supply chains, c) facilitate business development of the existing businesses operating in the areas of the project implementation.<\/p>\n<p>It is expected that the Project officer after successful probation period will assist three outcome coordinators and will manage the project intervention related to the Training Providers (Public and Private).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Required qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree in Agronomics, Economics or related discipline;<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 years\u2019 experience in agribusiness or any other economic sectors in Kosovo.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge on skills development and current market approaches will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of gender sensitive and participatory approaches to development;<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical, oral communications and writing skills;<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English, Albanian and Serbian;<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and Power Point):<\/li>\n<li>Extensive travel to rural area of Kosovo will be required, as well as limited international travel for training purposes;<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license.
