The Steering Committee has an advisory role towards LOGOS regarding the planning, monitoring and implementation of the project. The main functions of the Steering Committee are the following:
\n–\u00a0Provide overall strategic guidance to the project;
\n–\u00a0Approve yearly plans of operations as well as (bi)annual reports;
\n–\u00a0Act as an exchange forum to ensure effective linkages between the field level practices and the national level policy making process.
\nRecommendations and advice of the Steering Committee should be made by consensus. Minority recommendations should always be noted in the minutes when requested.<\/p>\n
The Steering Committee is composed of representatives of the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC), the Ministry of Local Government and Administration (MLGA) the Association of Kosovo Municipalities (AKM) and all partner municipalities. While all partner municipalities are invited to participate in the Steering Committee, they collectively represent two votes. The Steering Committee is co-chaired by SDC and MLGA as the key national stakeholders. The Secretariat for the Steering Committee is held by Intercooperation.<\/p>\n
In accordance with its statutes the Steering Committee shall meet twice per year, while additional meetings can be organized upon special needs and request of a Steering Committee member.<\/p>\n
