Due to cooperation between Skills for Rural Employment project (S4RE) and Agro Product LLC, 21 farmers from Kamenica benefited from the project with seedling and a 3 month training about performance and planting. Leader of the group Mr.Nexhmedin Kryeziu was facilitated by S4RE to submit a project proposal to the municipality of Kamenica, to help with the drying facility at the value of 3675€ as a group. Besides experience and information for other medical plants, farmers have been facilitated to reach a contract for selling their product and raise their business which leads to a great will to continue in the next years. They planted about 5 Ari with black marshmallow plant for each, which occurred to give them at around 75 kg of dried fresh black marshmallow flowers that they could sell for 10 euros per kg. As a reward this will increase their incomes but it is also a key tool on creating job opportunities.
