Young women and men make informed career choices and gain more employment and income opportunities through an improved job mediation system, information and services.
Under this intervention the project addresses the inefficient and ineffective matching of supply and demand in the labor market. In order to ensure that expectations of young people are better managed and their choices of profession and career are based on reliable information about labor market trends and requirements, EYE project will work with public and private employment service providers and formal education institutions for more and improved labor market and career guidance information and services.
EYE addresses the problem under four outputs:
Improved and socially inclusive career guidance services provide early information to youth and facilitate their personal development choices
Public and private matching and recruitment service providers offer more and improved socially inclusive services to young jobseekers and employers
Media reaching out to youth, including minority communities, provide content on relevant labor market topics in a sustainable way
Platform for social dialogue on youth employment and decent jobs is functional / institutionalized
